The most memorable experience in my time studying abroad was being with my Host Family, meeting life-long friends both Ecuadorian & BCA students alike, and keeping in touch with them through mail, e-mail and/or Facebook & Skype to present day 2012. I do not regret making the decision for one minute!! I would have regretted not making the decision if I wouldn't have gone w/ BCA. I was blessed to know the directors and work closely with each of the BCA staff both in the central office in N. Manchester, IN and the director of Quito, Ecuador .... whom I was also fortunate to be able to assist with the large 35+ group of BCA Quito students in my return back in Fall '99.
Another great highlight was working with the interim director of Quito .... Bev Eikenberry. She was wonderful, and we even shared a taxi on our way from the University of San Francisco of Quito to the choir practice that we both formed a part of (at the home of the Russian native choir director). It was all a great, unforgettable semester!
