University Information

The University of San Francisco de Quito (USFQ) is a private, American-style university founded in 1985.  The school, often considered “the premiere university of Ecuador,” has approximately 3,300 undergraduate students, about 10 percent of which are international students.  While 70 percent of the professors are Ecuadorian, instructors come from all over the world including the United States, Europe, Asia and other countries in Latin America.  Almost all faculty have doctoral degrees and have studied and/or worked outside of Ecuador.

Libraries and Computer Labs

USFQ has one research library with computers and Internet access.  You will find additional computer labs scattered throughout the campus.
