Student Life

Housing and Meals

In Dalian, students live in a dormitory on campus not far from where they take classes. The building is uniquely situated to provide immediate access to the academic and administrative buildings and is also close to central Dalian, where students can dine out or go shopping. BCA provides a monthly meal stipend.

The dorm where BCA students live is an international student dorm. There are many international students on both campuses: Koreans, Russians, Japanese and some Europeans - which means you will have a diverse group of students as dorm mates while in Dalian.

BCA Educational Excursions

As a BCA student, you will have the unique opportunity to participate in a rural home stay visit. This allows you to see first-hand some of the issues that rural people in China face, in comparison to those in major cities such as Dalian, and also offers you an opportunity to participate in a local service project.

I loved the cultural excursions we took with the BCA director and were able to explore the Chinese village and the area around Inner Mongolia where many Westerners don't get to go.
