Other costs not covered by the BCA fee for which you should budget include:
- Domestic and international airfare to the program - $900 from the East Coast
- Visa - $70
- Town hall registration (varies depending on where you live) - $15-80
- U.S. Passport - $100
- Textbooks - $300
- Laundry - varies depending on housing choice; generally included in homestays
- In-country transportation costs - $40 for monthly transportation pass
- Additional lab and course fees not included in standard host institution tuition - $1100 for optional ART 361 course
- Personal/entertainment expenses - $300 per month
