Why BCA Sapporo?

• Live with a Japanese host family, which will help you improve your proficiency in Japanese and teach you about the Japanese culture.
• Spend 12 credit hours per week in Japanese language instruction.
• Study at Hokusei Gakuen University, a BCA partner since 1988 offering courses in English literature, social work, information management, economics, business and more. Independent study options are available.
• Live in Sapporo, the capital city of Hokkaido, Japan's second largest island.  
• Experience the Honshu region of Japan, including Kyoto, Hiroshima, and Osaka, with a two-week study tour at the end of the semester.
• Volunteer in Sapporo elementary and middle schools.
