BCA's Signature Courses: The Troubles, Derry and the Peace Process in Northern Ireland, and Conflict Management & Intervention. The former of these courses includes 10 intensive days in Northern Ireland learning directly from local community members representing nationalist, republican, unionist, and loyalist perspectives.
Student membership of the Edward M.Kennedy Institute for Conflict Intervention named in honor of the distinguished late American Senator, Edward M. Kennedy. BCA students will have the opportunity to receive a certificate in peace and justice of the National University of Ireland as part of their program. Students also can participate in a wide range of international events organized by the Institute and will retain their membership after their stay (and therefore their
association with the university) and may have the opportunity to become
future Kennedy Institute Ambassadors.
