Academic Calendar
Students may apply for the full year or for one semester. The German academic calendar is significantly different from its American counterpart. Fall semester runs from late October to late February, and spring term runs from late April to late July. Students who wish to return to the United States before Christmas may enroll in the compact semester, which runs from late October to late December and offers courses run by BCA. All new BCA students arrive in Marburg five weeks prior to their first term to attend an orientation course.
