Morocco Summer Program

Global Perspective through Volunteering and Language

Learn Arabic (Modern Standard Arabic—MSA) in Morocco - one of the world’s most secure and stable Arab-speaking countries. As a BCA Tetouan student, you will attend the Dar Loughat Cross-Cultural Language Center, which offers intensive Arabic courses at a variety of levels. This small language school enrolls students from all over the world and employs faculty with extensive experience teaching Arabic to foreign students. In addition to learning Arabic, you will also take a two-credit Moroccan culture course that emphasizes a Moroccan perspective on human rights. Included in this course are volunteer work and three or more hours of cultural activities each week. Excursions to villages and to exciting sites like Tangiers will round out your experience in beautiful Tetouan, which is located on the Mediterranean and surrounded by mountains.
