How to Apply

Applying to BCA Study Abroad is easy with our online application system!
Before applying, please follow the steps below:

Step 1

Review the following requirements.

You are eligible to apply if you:

  • Have completed at least one year of undergraduate study
  • Are currently enrolled and in good academic standing at a U.S. or Canadian college or university
  • Have a minimum cumulative GPA of a 2.60 (the GPA requirement is higher for some programs)
  • Meet the language prerequisite for the center you've chosen (if applicable). Check language prerequisites.

Step 2

Browse the programs.

Use our search system to review the programs and pick the site(s) that best fits your needs

Step 3

Meet with your study abroad advisor.

If you meet the above requirements, the next step is to review your program choice(s) with your study abroad advisor. Be sure to discuss how your study abroad credits will transfer to your college or university.

Apply Online!

If you are ready to apply, simply create an account with BCA’s online application system. There are several steps and sections to complete, so it’s a good idea to get started on the application once you have made the decision to study abroad with BCA. Don't forget, BCA no longer accepts paper applications.

“When will I know if I’m accepted?”

You can view your application status online 24/7. Generally, students are notified within three weeks after they have completed all the applications steps and all necessary forms and documents have been submitted to BCA.

After Acceptance

You will receive an e-mail congratulating you on your acceptance to BCA Study Abroad. After that point, you will receive regular communications from BCA and will use your login account to review important information regarding dates, deadlines and all pre-departure materials.
